The German Conference on Bioinformatics (GCB) is an annual, international conference devoted to all areas of bioinformatics and meant as a platform for the whole bioinformatics community. Recent meetings attracted a multinational audience of approx. 250 participants each year.

GCB 2021 will be held at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) in Halle (Saale).
The conference venue will be the historical university campus in Halle downtown.

Workshops and Tutorials will be organized on September 5 and the main conference will take place September 6-8.
