DESCRIPTION:  \nA Bioeconomy Ventures Expand&Explore Event and MPowerBIO Training and Pitching Competition \n\n18.08.22 | Training Session (online event) \n25.08.22 | Pitching Competition (on-site\, Startplatz\, Düsseldorf)\n\n\n\nJoin our SME & Start-up Pitch Event @ CLIB if you are active in the bio-based industry sector and want to improve your contacts with investors. \nApply until 01 August to join both our training event to get individual feedback from investment experts and our competition to build your investor network and have the chance to join an even larger European pitching event in October. You can also join one of the two events individually. \nThe three best SMEs will have the chance to pitch at the MPowerBIO Final Pitching Competition “TechTour Bioeconomy 2022” on 05 October in North Rhine-Westphalia\, Germany. They will receive an award of 250 EUR towards travel costs. In addition\, three SMEs will be retained on a reserve list.  \nApplication is open for European SMEs active in the bio-based industry sector. There is a limited number of spots available. Please give us some information about your product or process\, including technology readiness level (TRL)\, targeted markets\, your technology. Registrations will be confirmed after eligibility check on a first come first serve basis.  \n\nDay 1 – 18.08.22 Pitch Training Session (online only) \nGet questions and individual feedback from a panel of mentors selected for their expertise. SUMMARY:Circular-Bio Exkursion: Insect School der Firma Insect Engineers
DESCRIPTION:Das Interesse an der Thematik “Alternative Proteinpflanzen und Insektenprotein” ist groß\, wie unser vorangegangenes Forum “The future of alternative proteins – Meeting the experts”  am 5. April 2022 gezeigt hat. Aus diesem Grund wollen wir einen Schritt weiter gehen und uns durch das Angebot von zwei weiteren Veranstaltungen nun der Praxis zuwenden. Das ist unsere erste Veranstaltung: Die Exkursion. \n\nDie erste Veranstaltung (als Exkursion am 31. August 2022) widmet sich der Produktion von Insektenprotein. Hierzu besuchen wir die Insect School der Firma Insect Engineers in Horst\, nahe Venlo. Die Insect School bietet Möglichkeiten für Unternehmen / Interessierte\, die Insektenproduktion in den dortigen Räumlichkeiten auszuprobieren\, zudem entsteht hier ein Ort zum Austausch und Lernen rund um das Thema Insekten als Proteinquelle.
