DESCRIPTION:CLIB ist im Rheinischen Revier im Projekt „Bio4MatPro – Kompetenzzentrum zur Biologischen Transformation der Materialwissenschaft und Produktionstechnik“ aktiv\, das von der RWTH Aachen koordiniert wird. Das Projekt hat es sich zum Ziel gemacht\, durch die Nutzung lokaler\, nachwachsender Rohstoffe neue Produktionstechniken für hochwertige biobasierte Materialien für unterschiedliche Sektoren zu entwickeln. Weiter Informationen zum Projekt finden Sie hier. \nDas Projekt wird am 6. Oktober die erste öffentliche Jahrestagung in Aachen veranstalten\, bei dem CLIB in Verbindung mit dem HiPerIn 2.0-Projekt eine Vernetzungssession moderieren wird. Dazu möchten wir Sie im Namen von Bio4MatPro herzlich einladen. Veranstaltungsort ist DAS LIEBIG. SUMMARY:7th PhD Day "Future Bioeconomy" "Scaling the Bioeconomy: Limitations\, Challenges\, Solutions"
DESCRIPTION:After six successful NRW-wide PhD Days on the topic of „Future Bioeconomy“\, this year the 7th NRW PhD Day will again take place as a full-day attendance event on 20 October 2022. The aim of this meeting is to bring together young PhD scientists from different scientific fields and locations in NRW and to offer them a framework for networking and discussion about future developments and career paths in the bioeconomy. With this year’s theme „Scaling in the Bioeconomy: Limitations\, Challenges\, Solutions“\, the aim is to show to the PhD students how far-reaching the relevance of this topic „Scaling in the Bioeconomy: Challenge and Limitations“ is for science and industry. It deals with contents such as: Sustainable and sufficient supply and use of biomass\, scaling from lab to pilot scale\, scaling from pilot to large scale production\, etc…. With the selection of speakers\, we want to represent the most diverse stages of development (from young start-ups to established and international companies) and thus the range of challenges associated with scaling processes in the bioeconomy. \n\n\nRegistration is open!
