DESCRIPTION:Seit einigen Jahren ist das jährliche BioSC Symposium eine Plattform für den inter- und transdisziplinären Austausch für eine nachhaltige Bioökonomie. Auch das 7. BioSC Symposium deckt wieder ein ein breites inhaltliches Spektrum ab. Experten aus Akademia und Industrie\, Zivilgesellschaft und Politik sind eingeladen\, aktuelle Themen und Entwicklungen zu diskutieren\, von der Primärproduktion über die Entwicklung neuer Produkte und Konzepte bis hin zu Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung und gesellschaftlicher Transformation. \nIn zwei Keynote Lectures\, vier Sessions und einer Posterausstellung werden aktuelle Ergebnisse und neue Entwicklungen für eine nachhaltige Bioökonomie diskutiert. DESCRIPTION:Zur Greener Manufacturing Show 2023 werden mehr als 250 auf Nachhaltigkeit ausgerichtete Unternehmen erwartet\, die ihre Produkte aus nachhaltigeren Materialien entwerfen und herstellen\, die Verwendung giftiger Chemikalien einschränken oder ganz abschaffen und die Auswirkungen ihrer Industrie- und Fertigungsprozesse auf die Umwelt und den globalen Klimawandel verringern wollen. Zu der Veranstaltung\, die zeitgleich mit der Plastic Waste Free World Conference & Expo stattfindet\, werden mehr als 4.000 Besucher erwartet. SUMMARY:10th Biorizon Annual Event on Bio-Aromatics: The Anniversary Edition - 29 & 30 November – Rotterdam & Online
DESCRIPTION:On November 29 and 30 2023\, Shared Research Center Biorizon will host its 10th Biorizon Annual Event on Bio-Aromatics in Rotterdam. \nLarge industry players\, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME’s) and Research and Technology Organizations (RTO’s) from all over the world will be present to discuss the latest progress in the field of bio-aromatics and to elaborate on the opportunities to accelerate biobased business together. \nOn Thursday\, 30 November 2023 Biorizon co-initiators TNO and VITO will be hosting this event at the Mainport Hotel in Rotterdam. The night prior to the event (Wednesday\, 29 November 2023)\, Biorizon invites participants to a networking dinner (a small dinner fee applies). Hotel room reservations have been arranged (limited availability & at your own expense). \nProgram \nThe program on Thursday\, 30 November 2023 includes presentations from small companies to large brand manufacturers showcasing the latest innovation in renewable aromatics: \n\npresentations by industry thought leaders such as Henkel\, Westlake Epoxy and Soprema;\nin-depth information on the progress that Biorizon has made in the technology development of functionalized biobased aromatics;\npre-arranged bilateral matchmaking sessions to discuss opportunities to collaborate.\n\nFurthermore\, there will be ample opportunity to talk to companies\, stakeholders and researchers in an informal setting. \nBiorizon thanks the Port of Rotterdam\, City of Rotterdam and the province of South-Holland for sponsoring this event in light of their efforts to promote circular and biobased entrepreneurship. \nRegistration via Biorizon’s event website \n
