SUMMARY:CIRCULAR-BIO Annual Conference 2021
DESCRIPTION:The partners of the Circular-Bio Network invite you to the project’s annual conference on 2 November. Participation in this hybrid event is possible both on site at the Lindner Congress Hotel Düsseldorf and online.\n\nDuring the conference\, we want to discuss which material flows are available in the cross-border region along the German-Dutch border\, which innovative valorisation concepts are being developed\, and which product ideas are being promoted. The circular bioeconomy offers diverse potentials and in the past months we have identified some concrete topic areas with particular relevance for the region.\n\nIn sessions on the topics Future Fuels\, Healthy Building\, Food & Feed Solutions and Utilisation of Residual Material Streams from Horticulture\, we want to present exciting approaches and jointly discuss possible solutions for existing issues.\n\nThe conference will take place from approx. 9.15 am – 5.30 pm. We are looking forward to your participation at the Lindner Congress Hotel Düsseldorf\, Lütticher Str. 130\, 40547 Düsseldorf. The event will also be accessible in parallel via video stream.\nAGENDA:\n\n\n\n09:15\nConference Registration & welcome coffee\n\n\n09:45\nOpening Session: Eating sustainable – Novelties in Food & Feed\n\n\n09:45\nModeratorin: Sarah Refai (CLIB)\n\n\n\n09:50\nDennis Herzberg\nCLIB\nCircular-Bio\, Bio-based business – building bridges beyond borders\n\n\n10:05\nTimo Johannes Koch\nPfeifer & Langen\, Savanna Ingredients\n„Scale Up“ Challenges in Food Industry\n\n\n10:35\nTheo Verleun\nInsectValley\nInsects as part of our food intake either direct or indirect.  It will happen!?\n\n\n11:05\nSession 1: Turning healthy and sustainable – Transformations in the Building Industry\n\n\n11:05\nModerator: Simon Jenniches (WFK)\n\n\n\n11:10\nProf. Dr. Steffen Witzleben\nHochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg\nSustainable and biobased materials in the construction industry\n\n\n11:30\nJeoffrey van den Berg\nNewFoss\nGrass fibers in the building sector\n\n\n11:50\nJulia Krayer\, Lina Vieres\nFraunhofer UMSICHT\nUsing mycelium and 3D-printable biobased paste as building materials\n\n\n12:10\nDiscussion\n\n\n\n\n12:25\nIntroduction Oanax platform\nBrian Velda (Oanax)\n\n\n12:40\nLunch and networking break\n\n\n14:00\nSession 2: Moving forward – Innovations in Fuels\n\n\n14:00\nModerator: Frank Köster (3N)\n\n\n\n14:05\nDina Genzink\nQ1 Energie AG\, Osnabrück\nDeveloping climate-neutral fuels and taking into petrol stations\n\n\n14:25\nDr. Horst Meyrahn\nAgrihumin GmbH\nSewage sludge recycling\n\n\n14:45\nKlaus Lucka\nTEC4FUELS GmbH\nChances and Challenges of advanced alternative Fuels\n\n\n15:05\nDiscussion\n\n\n\n\n15:20\nCoffee break\n\n\n15:50\nSession 3: Becoming waste-less – Using residual Material from Horticulture\n\n\n15:50\nModerator: Patrick Lemmens (Arvalis)\n\n\n\n15:55\nGiulia Viero\nECOR Global\nEnabling horticulture fibers use in material innovation & applications\n\n\n16:15\nHans Derksen\nBioRefinerySolutions\nProducing high-value food-grade ingredients out of agrofood sidestreams\n\n\n16:35\nDiscussion\n\n\n\n\n16:45\nPanel Discussion\nPatrick Lemmens in dialogue with Giulia Viero\, Hans Derksen and Pim Deuling (Bluehub/Platform Tuinbouwreststromen)\n\n\n17:10\nGet together \n\n\n\nPlease register on-site until 26 October 2021 and on-line until 28 October 2021.
