SUMMARY:AI Circular Economy Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer just a technological trend; it is a transformative force that is accelerating the transition from fossil fuels to renewable carbon sources in the chemical and materials industry. This represents one of the greatest industrial challenges since the beginning of the industrial revolution\, requiring the most advanced digital solutions available. AI is emerging as the key enabler of this transformation. \nnova-Institute proudly presents its new highlight event\, bringing together the best innovators\, researchers\, and practitioners of this fundamental digital transformation of our society: The AI Circular Economy Conference\, 4-5 March\, 2026 in Cologne and online. Join us at this groundbreaking conference to explore how advanced AI tools and applications are shaping the future of circular and sustainable materials by unlocking the full potential of renewable carbon from biomass\, carbon capture utilisation (CCU)\, and recycling: \n\nHigh-tech innovators are delivering cutting-edge AI solutions for science and industry.\nChemical and plastics producers are using AI to innovate more quickly\, efficiently\, and sustainably.\nThe agricultural and biomass sectors are using AI to identify new sources of raw materials and close the loop on material flows.\nCutting-edge applications of AI\, including AI-assisted modelling of CCU processes and catalysts\, optimisation of CO₂capture\, and the design of novel chemical pathways such as those involving electrochemistry.\nUse of AI for process control and optimisation in depolymerisation\, advanced waste stream sorting and feedstock analysis\, as well as quality assurance of recycled materials.\n\nFeaturing top experts in AI development\, chemical and plastics manufacturing\, biotechnology\, agriculture\, recycling and sustainability\, this interdisciplinary event will explore the latest developments in the field. Whether you are a data scientist working on new industrial applications\, a materials professional seeking for practical tools\, or part of the management or investment community looking to understand strategic and financial opportunities\, this conference will provide you with actionable insights\, valuable use cases and collaborative opportunities. The “AI Circular Economy Conference” will bring together all relevant stakeholders to discuss the need for AI solutions in a circular economy in the chemistry and materials sector and to match these needs with technical solutions from scientists and developers. \n  \nRead more: Home – AI Circular Economy Conference

SUMMARY:Eco Congress 2026 – Regional Resources for the Future
DESCRIPTION:The bioeconomy is constantly changing. New challenges are being tackled\, new insights are being gained and innovative solutions are being developed. You are hereby invited to the Eco Congress 2026 – Regional Resources for the Future. For the eighth time\, experts from science\, industry and practice will come together in Papenburg to discuss current issues and new solutions. \nThis year’s congress will focus on the following topics: paludiculture\, sustainable land use and nutrient cycles\, bioenergy and peat substitutes\, bio-circular plastics\, and bio-based and circular building materials. After a variety of specialist presentations on the first day of the congress\, parallel topic-specific sessions on the above-mentioned key topics will be offered on the second day. We look forward to exchanging ideas with you. \nThe invitation flyer provides an initial overview of the congress. \nThe event will be complemented by a poster and company exhibition. You can submit your own posters or present your company as an exhibitor. If you are interested\, please contact us at: info@3-n.info \nIf you know of other companies or individuals who may be interested in participating\, please feel free to forward this invitation. \nThe conference languages are German and English; simultaneous translation will be provided. \nThe Eco Congress is organised by the 3N Competence Centre Lower Saxony Network for Renewable Resources and Bioeconomy e. V. and Ecoras. The congress is sponsored by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Food\, Agriculture and Consumer Protection and the provinces of Fryslân\, Groningen and Drenthe. \nRegistration: Registrierung | ECO Congress – Regional Resources for the Future

SUMMARY:Realise‑Bio Webinar: Key Recommendations for Advancing the Circular Bioeconomy in the Border Region
DESCRIPTION:In the Interreg Germany-Netherlands project Realise-Bio\, we worked together with partners from both countries for three years to advance the circular bioeconomy in the border region. Through intensive networking and the promotion of cross-border model projects\, we were able to identify key challenges and develop practical solutions. \nIn the final webinar\, we will present one of the most important results of the project: the recommendations for action\, which summarise the main obstacles\, needs\, and future impulses in eight thematic areas – based on expert interviews and the experiences of the project partners. In addition\, a funded model project will provide insights into its own recommendations and show how concrete approaches work in practice. \nThe webinar is aimed at stakeholders from business\, science\, administration\, and networks who want to further strengthen the circular bioeconomy in the region. \nLanguage: English\, questions welcomed in German and Dutch as well \nAgenda\n13.30 h Welcome and Introduction to Realise-Bio \n13.40 h Our key recommendations of action presented by the Realise-Bio experts \n14.20 h A real-life example from our model project partner eudemia \n14.35 h Q&A to the whole consortium \n14.45 h Farewell and end of event \n  \nRegister now for free and join us on 26 March.
