SUMMARY:Bioeconomy GIANTS Webinar #3 – Scaling up Bioeconomy Solutions
DESCRIPTION:As part of the Ecosystem Training Programme\, this webinar focuses on how bio-based innovations can move from concept to pilot and scale-up. Organised by Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant (BBEPP) under the BIOECONOMY GIANTS initiative\, the session will introduce practical scale-up strategies\, key technical and policy considerations\, and ways to accelerate the development of bioeconomy solutions towards market uptake. \nThe European Union’s bioeconomy plays a crucial role in achieving ambitious climate and sustainability goals. However\, transforming promising ideas into scalable and market-ready solutions requires access to the right expertise\, infrastructure\, and strategic support. \nWhy Join?\nThis training will provide participants with practical insights into the scale-up journey of bioeconomy innovations\, from early-stage concepts to pilot and demonstration phases. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the technical\, strategic\, and policy-related aspects involved in successful upscaling. \nIn today’s transition towards more sustainable and circular business models\, scaling up bio-based solutions is essential to strengthen competitiveness\, foster innovation\, and unlock new opportunities for rural and regional development. \nWho is it for?\nThe session is specifically tailored to the primary sector\, offering practical and actionable insights for: \n• Primary producers• Farmers and livestock producers• Cooperatives and associations• Clusters• Stakeholders across the bio-based value chain \nMore information here \nPlease register here
