SUMMARY:Renewable Materials Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Global Networking Point of the Renewable Carbon Economy will take place in Siegburg/Cologne\, Germany\, from 22–24 September 2026 \nThe Renewable Materials Conference (RMC) will once again be the outstanding international meeting place for innovators\, companies and brands\, investors and policymakers to come together to develop and shape the future renewable carbon economy. As in previous years\, the conference organiser nova-Institute expects 400-500 participants from around the world. The RMC is the leading global event of the renewable carbon economy\, showcasing the latest progress in and prospects of bioeconomy\, CCU and recycling for the defossilisation of chemicals and materials. Accordingly\, this year’s focus topic is “Defossilisation through innovation”. \nMore information: nova Press Release – nova-Institute \nAdditionally\, CLIB will be hosting a workshop in collaboration with the COUNTLESS and LIGNOFUN projects. Join us on 23 September at 11:20 h CEST\, as we discuss the challenges and opportunities of utilising lignin and lignin-based building blocks in various applications.

SUMMARY:15th Int. CeBiTec Research Conference Bielefeld
DESCRIPTION:The 15th International CeBiTec Research Conference “Advances in Industrial Biotechnology: From Metabolic Design to Biomanufacturing – Bridging Scales and Data” will take place at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research (ZiF) at Bielefeld University from September 28 – 30\, 2026. The conference will bring together experts in metabolic engineering\, bioprocess development\, data‑driven biocatalysis\, and industrial biotechnology. The program will include invited lectures\, short oral presentations\, and poster sessions. An excellent lineup of speakers from academia and industry has been assembled. \nParticipants are warmly invited to present their work as an oral or poster presentation. The deadline for abstract submission is June 30\, 2026. Early bird registration is open until June 14. Further program details and the conference flyer are available on the conference website: 2026-09-28 | 15th Int. CeBiTec Research Conference Bielefeld \nIn addition\, a special issue in Synthetic Biology and Engineering (SBE) is planned\, to which conference participants may submit manuscripts that will undergo the journal’s regular peer-review process.

SUMMARY:CLIB-Webinar „Scaling Bioprocesses: Turning Lab Success into Industrial Reality ”
DESCRIPTION:Join our next CLIB-Webinar “Scaling Bioprocesses: Turning Lab Success into Industrial Reality”. As promising innovations move from laboratory research to industrial application\, the ability to successfully scale processes becomes a critical factor for their economic and technical viability.  \nThis webinar will focus on the key challenges associated with scale-up projects and explore how processes can be effectively transferred to industrial scale. We will highlight the important role of universities and research institutions in supporting innovation and bridging the gap between fundamental research and industrial implementation.  \nIn addition\, we will discuss the close relationship between process development and scale-up\, examining current challenges\, emerging trends\, and best practices. A special emphasis will be placed on how laboratory-scale studies can be designed to generate relevant data and insights\, enabling more informed decisions and reducing risks during later stages of scale-up.  \nYou can look forward to valuable insights into the strategies and considerations that drive successful bioprocess scale-up.  \nAgenda\n \nRegistration
