SUMMARY:CLIB-Webinar: Sustainability starts here - Integrating LCA and SSbD into bio-based innovation from day one
DESCRIPTION:How can sustainability and safety be embedded into innovation from the very beginning? \nThis webinar highlights how Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) support the development of circular and bio‑based solutions. Experts from the COUNTLESS\, LIGNOFUN and ReCO2NWert projects will share practical insights into assessing environmental impacts\, identifying sustainability hotspots and making informed decisions even with limited early‑stage data. \nParticipants will learn how predictive LCA strengthens the sustainability case of emerging technologies\, and how SSbD principles help design products and processes that meet safety\, sustainability and circularity goals from the outset. Real‑world examples will illustrate key methodologies\, challenges and opportunities for research and industry. \nThe webinar is aimed at researchers\, industry professionals\, policymakers and sustainability practitioners seeking to accelerate the shift towards safer and more sustainable innovation. \n \nAgenda\n \n  \nRegistration
