It supports early stage companies and academia and is backed by our competition partners: Unilever, Croda, Johnson Matthey, RSSL, Reckitt Beckinser, Wallgreens Boots Alliance, Scott Bader, AstraZeneca and PepsiCo.<\/p>\n<p>As well as a \u00a320,000 cash prize, the 4 winners (1 per category below) will receive world-class mentorship and support from the competition\u2019s high-profile backers and be assigned a Royal Society of Chemistry mentor who will provide ongoing support and \u00a320,000 business acceleration grant for one year.<\/p>\n<p>So if you think you have what it takes, you have until 12 July to apply.<\/p>\n<p>Entry Criteria: The competition is open to small companies or academic entrepreneurs based in the UK, EU, Norway or Iceland with fewer than 20 employees and a turnover of less than \u00a32million.
