{"id":17420,"date":"2024-03-21T13:26:15","date_gmt":"2024-03-21T12:26:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.clib-cluster.de\/biooekonomie-wirft-im-rheinischen-revier-den-anker-und-wird-zum-leuchtturm-des-strukturwandels\/"},"modified":"2024-03-21T13:39:00","modified_gmt":"2024-03-21T12:39:00","slug":"bioeconomy-drops-anchor-in-the-rhenish-mining-area-and-becomes-a-beacon-of-structural-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.clib-cluster.de\/en\/bioeconomy-drops-anchor-in-the-rhenish-mining-area-and-becomes-a-beacon-of-structural-change\/","title":{"rendered":"Bioeconomy drops anchor in the Rhenish mining area and becomes a beacon of structural change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<strong> NRW state cabinet<\/strong> has identified <strong>19 anchor projects<\/strong> deemed central to the successful, rapid and visible implementation of <strong>structural change in the Rhenish mining area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We very much welcome the fact that biotechnology plays a key role in one of the anchor projects, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forschungsverbund-biooekonomie.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bioeconomy model region<\/a><\/strong>, and expect that it will provide important impetus for the transformation to a bio-based circular economy in the region, in which biotechnology will play a key role.<\/p>\n<p>The selected projects include <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forschungsverbund-biooekonomie.de\/bio4matpro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bio4MatPro<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong>recently approved graduate cluster AUFBRUCH<\/strong>, two projects that <strong>CLIB<\/strong> played a leading role in shaping and in which numerous <strong>CLIB members<\/strong> are involved as project partners.
