Cluster Industrial Biotechnology \u2013 CLIB is proud to be a founding member of the European Bioeconomy Cluster\u2019s Alliance. The EBCA brings together 14 bioeconomy clusters from 11 Member States of the EU:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bioeconomy Cluster<\/strong> (Slovakia), <strong>Bioeconomy for Change<\/strong> (France), <strong>Cluster Industrial Biotechnology \u2013 CLIB <\/strong>(Germany), <strong>Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment in Western Macedonia <\/strong>and<strong> Greek Bioeconomy Council<\/strong> (Greece), <strong>Flanders\u2019 FOOD<\/strong> and <strong>Wagralim<\/strong> (Belgium), <strong>Food and Biotech Cluster<\/strong> <strong>Denmark<\/strong> (Denmark), <strong>Food+\u00ed<\/strong> and <strong>CTA<\/strong> (Spain), <strong>Irish Bioeconomy Foundation<\/strong> (Ireland), <strong>P-Bio<\/strong> (Portugal), <strong>SPRING<\/strong>, Italian Circular Bioeconomy Cluster (Italy, and <strong>World Bioeconomy Association<\/strong> (Finland).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-21698 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clib-cluster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EBCA-Logo-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clib-cluster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EBCA-Logo-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.clib-cluster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EBCA-Logo-1030x772.png 1030w, https:\/\/www.clib-cluster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EBCA-Logo-768x576.png 768w, https:\/\/www.clib-cluster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EBCA-Logo-705x528.png 705w, https:\/\/www.clib-cluster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EBCA-Logo.png 1250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>EBCA members will join forces to support the development of circular bioeconomy in Europe and making the EU a leader in the ecological transition.\u00a0\u00a0The clusters agree to work together to exchange information, to establish networking between their ecosystems, to promote bioeconomy education and training, and to develop research, development, and demonstration projects for technologies that convert sustainable feedstock into food, industrial and energy applications.<\/p>\n<p>Together, the clusters of the EBCA represent thousands of local companies, innovators, authorities, research and education institutions, as well as funding and capital entities.\u00a0\u00a0They are anchored in the regions and connected with each other across the EU and abroad to promote circular bioeconomy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>To implement the bioeconomy on a broad scale and thus strengthen the competitiveness of the European Union, the various EU member states need to join forces. To this end, the diverse stakeholders in the bioeconomy from various sectors and regions must be brought together and networked. The established clusters within the EBCA can achieve and promote this.
