Last week, the C1 Feedstock Focus Group had the pleasure of visiting Evonik<\/a> in Marl for an exclusive, members-only exchange within the CLIB – Cluster Industrielle Biotechnologie<\/a> community.
\nA particular highlight was the unique opportunity to gain in-depth insights into the \ud835\udde5\ud835\uddf5\ud835\uddf2\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddf0\ud835\ude02\ud835\ude00 \ud835\uddfd\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddf7\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf0\ud835\ude01, guided by Thomas Haas and Juliane Merz from Evonik<\/a> .The visit to the pilot plant provided an impressive look into the practical implementation of innovative Power-to-X concepts.<\/p>\n

– \ud835\udde8\ud835\uddf9\ud835\uddf3-\ud835\udde3\ud835\uddf2\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff \ud835\uddd4\ud835\uddfd\ud835\uddf3\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf9 (Fraunhofer UMSICHT<\/a>) discussed catalyst development, spanning the journey from CO\u2082 utilisation to scaled industrial setups.
\n– \ud835\udddf\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddf0\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddee \ud835\udde9\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddee and \ud835\udde9\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf2\ud835\ude00\ud835\ude00\ud835\uddee \ud835\uddea\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf4\ud835\uddee\ud835\ude01 (Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology<\/a>) presented on \ud835\uddd6\ud835\udde2\u2082-\ud835\uddef\ud835\uddee\ud835\ude00\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf1 \ud835\ude00\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddef\ud835\ude00\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddee\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf2 \ud835\uddf3\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddfa\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddfb\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddee\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddfb and its biotechnological potential.
\n– \ud835\udde2\ud835\uddf9\ud835\uddf6\ud835\ude03\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddee \ud835\udde6\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddf0\ud835\uddf5\ud835\ude06 (Ucaneo<\/a>) introduced an innovative \ud835\uddd7\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf0\ud835\ude01 \ud835\uddd4\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddff \ud835\uddd6\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfd\ud835\ude01\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf2 \ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf0\ud835\uddf5\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddf9\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddf4\ud835\ude06, showcasing new pathways for carbon sourcing.
