On February 24 and 25, 2021, the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology UMSICHT, CLIB – Cluster Industrial Biotechnology and the EnergyAgency.NRW in Oberhausen are organizing the online congress \u00bbBIO-raffiniert XI\u00ab with the topic \u00bbBioeconomy: Building Block the Circular Economy – Opportunities for Products and Processes \u00ab. The eleventh event of the congress series thus spans the arc from the bioeconomy to the circular economy. Apply for a poster contribution or a lecture.<\/p>\n

Raw materials have to be processed precisely in flexible, modular processes, on the product side properties such as bio-basedness and biodegradability are becoming increasingly important for a circular economy. The product is also a new raw material – for this we need new product designs and processes that are based on circular principles. These are some of the challenges that are to be discussed in the context of BIO-raffiniert XI.<\/p>\n
