The building and construction sector is on the move to sustainability. In the transitional process high energy- and process-related CO2<\/sub>-Emissions and an overall high operational energy demand in buildings must be considered as well as the heterogenic waste remaining after deconstruction which poses a challenge to recycling strategies. This topic is also of increasing political and regulatory relevance, as also indicated by a recent call for project proposals<\/a> by the CBE JU.<\/p>\n In our forum event \u201cSmart technologies for sustainable construction\u201c<\/strong> on 05 September we are going to look at innovation, ideas, but also hurdles and enabler for sustainable solutions in the construction and housing sector.<\/p>\n Within the framework of our projects Triple-S and Realise-Bio we move the focus to smart use cases for biobased and recycled resources and discuss which criteria have to be met for a technology to not only offer a greener solution, but also make a noticeable difference on the market.<\/p>\n Join us and three expert speakers in the discussion and make new connections with other participants.
