BIOECONOMY GIANTS launches Open Call I to support primary producers’ participation in the Bioeconomy Bootcamp
The BIOECONOMY GIANTS project is pleased to announce the official launch of its Open Call I on June 1st 2026, aimed at supporting primary producers across Europe through travel vouchers that will enable their participation in the BIOECONOMY GIANTS Bioeconomy Bootcamp, organised within the “Pitch Perfect and Boost the European Bioeconomy” event.
About the Bioeconomy Bootcamp
The Bioeconomy Bootcamp will provide participants with the opportunity to:
- Access cutting-edge knowledge and innovative solutions in the bioeconomy sector
- Network with industry actors, clusters, researchers, and innovation stakeholders
- Explore future collaboration opportunities within the BIOECONOMY GIANTS ecosystem
Who can apply?
The Open Call is addressed to:
- Farmers and agricultural producers
- Forestry producers
- Cooperatives of primary producers
- Other organisations representing primary production activities
Applicants must be able to participate in English.
Funding support
Through Open Call I, BIOECONOMY GIANTS will provide travel vouchers of €500 per participant to support participation in the Bioeconomy Bootcamp.
In total, 40 vouchers will be available, corresponding to a total budget of €20,000.
This support aims to reduce barriers to participation and facilitate the active involvement of primary producers in European bioeconomy networking, sustainability, and collaboration opportunities.
