CKB publishes white papers on virtual competence centres and on the overarching strategic orientation

As part of the ERDF-funded project CKB – CLIB Competence Center Biotechnology, CLIB has published two further whitepapers on “Optimising the benefits of virtual competence centres for local industry” and “Long-term strategic orientation of CKB”.

The white paper on the benefits of virtual competence centres shows how virtual networks promote research and development in a regionally defined environment. By transferring virtual competence centres into physical ones, the innovation potential can be exploited, which can lead to the regional establishment of start-ups and strengthen the business location.

The whitepaper is available in German only and can be downloaded for free CKB Whitepaper Virtuelle Kompetenzzentren.

The white paper on the overarching strategy of the CKB describes the successes and the strategic cornerstones, as well as concrete further development possibilities of the CLIB competence centre in NRW. The implementation of the long-term strategy described in the white paper will contribute to making NRW a lighthouse region for knowledge-based bioeconomy research and to bringing innovations from the laboratory to the market.

The whitepaper is available in German only and can be downloaded for free CKB Whitepaper zur übergeordneten Strategie.
