The Global Biobased Businessplan Competition starts again
The international G-BiB competition for students and PhD students is looking for new and innovative ideas on bio-renewable chemicals, materials, or fuel products. From October 2020 to February 2021 the student teams will have the chance to think beyond the academic scope of their project and discover the economic potential within their project.
The student teams will get to know other teams from all over Germany, England and Finland, learn how to build a business case, find the right customer, pitch their idea for investors, and deal with the press in a masterclass with individual feedback, compete in the German semifinal to qualify for the international final during the CLIB International Conference 2021 on 4 and 5 February 2021 in Düsseldorf.
Registration will open on Monday, 29 June. Take your chance to discover the potential of your academic project, find teammates to join you and register for the G-BiB 2020/2021.
The G-BiB 2020/2021 is organised by CLIB in Germany, THYME in England and Smart Chemistry Park in Finland.
The G-BiB competition is funded by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research under the project CROSSBEE – Cross-border Bioeconomy Education and was initiated by BIG-Cluster, a collaboration on Biobased Economy between the Netherlands, Flanders and North Rhine-Westphalia.
