The organisers expect 300 – 500 international participants.
ICB 2026 is jointly organized by Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) and State Key Laboratory of Green Biomanufacturing, continuing a distinguished tradition of fostering international academic exchange and collaboration. Since its inception, ICB has been hosted in renowned centers of excellence worldwide, including Beijing, China (2007); Syracuse, United States (2009); Bruges, Belgium (2011); Xiamen, China (2013); Vancouver, Canada (2015); Christchurch, New Zealand (2017); Johannesburg, South Africa (2019); Athens, Greece (2023); and São Paulo, Brazil (2025).
