Almost ten years ago, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) launched the funding programme ‘Bioeconomy as Social Change’ (BagW). Since then, a large number of exciting and innovative research projects have been funded in individual and joint projects in the nexus of social, economic and ecological aspects of the bioeconomy.
