The bioeconomy is constantly changing. New challenges are being tackled, new insights are being gained and innovative solutions are being developed. You are hereby invited to the Eco Congress 2026 – Regional Resources for the Future. For the eighth time, experts from science, industry and practice will come together in Papenburg to discuss current issues and new solutions.

This year’s congress will focus on the following topics: paludiculture, sustainable land use and nutrient cycles, bioenergy and peat substitutes, bio-circular plastics, and bio-based and circular building materials. After a variety of specialist presentations on the first day of the congress, parallel topic-specific sessions on the above-mentioned key topics will be offered on the second day. We look forward to exchanging ideas with you.
