esib is one of the largest networking events for representatives from science, industry and politics in the field of industrial biotechnology. More than 500 participants from all over the world discuss challenges in science and industry, meet colleagues and friends and take the opportunity to be inspired for new project opportunities.
In 2024, esib will focus on ‘sustainable bioproduction’ in the sense of bioeconomy and biopharma. In addition, the application of artificial intelligence in biotechnological approaches will be an important topic.
In addition, the MSCA project ConCO2rde will present its final results on strain engineering, hydrogen-driven biotransformations and process intensification of gas fermentation in a free session on 12 November at esib. The presentations of the three work packages of the project will be supplemented by a keynote lecture with experiences from the industry. This will be complemented by a panel discussion that will focus on the intricacies of converting gaseous raw materials into value-added products. In addition to the academic and industrial partners of the ConCO2rde consortium, anyone interested in learning about the current state of the art in the conversion of gaseous feedstocks (with a focus on CO2/H2/O2) and exploring the possibilities of future use and commercialisation of these technologies is invited to attend.
