In the 3rd round, the state government is funding biotechnological developments under the umbrella of ZukunftBIO.NRW with a focus on bio-based industry and future medicine.

The funding programmes are primarily aimed at SMEs and start-ups, but large companies, research institutions, state-funded universities, state-recognised universities, university clinics, hospitals and outpatient service providers based in North Rhine-Westphalia can also be part of a consortium as part of cooperation projects.

In cooperation with its network partner Kompetenzzentrum Bio-Security and BioIndustry e.V., BIO.NRW is organising an information event with a project partner marketplace on the funding programmes on 7 February in Bönen.

During the event, you will receive an introduction to the key topics of bio-based industry and future medicine, detailed information on the opportunities for participation and the operational procedure for project submission, which is only possible digitally. There will be plenty of time for questions.
