8th European Chemistry Partnering (ECP)

After 4 years of abstinence due to the pandemic, the 8th ECP succeeded in a successful restart in Frankfurt in the DECHEMA-Haus: the more than 250 in-person participants were full of praise. More than 700 partnering meetings were arranged in person and online over three days – a further 50 participants joined the two online days; More than 40 company pitches, a keynote, company booths in the exhibition area, two workshops on IP and AI, a panel discussion on the topic of financing startups and the all-important informal networking in the ECP community rounded off an intensive day in presence, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

For all those who missed the attendance day, fell ill and had short-term customer appointments, it was possible to switch to the digital part of the ECP in the new hybrid format; This also allowed those who preferred the impulses from the stage on the day of attendance and focused on informal exchange to concentrate on digital partnering. The 9th ECP will take place digitally on 12 February 2025 in Frankfurt (DECHEMA-Haus) and 25 to 26 February 2025 (online). The hybrid format of one face-to-face day and two online days, reinforced with an international audience, has proven its worth in order to be able to map all partnering wishes. As part of an exclusive pitching session, selected CLIB members used the event in Frankfurt to present their activities in the field of industrial biotechnology and to make new business contacts. CLIB would like to thank all speakers (see below) and the organizing team of BCNP for the great event and the many exciting conversations:
