The Cluster for Industrial Biotechnology initiates research projects for greater sustainability and ensures that the results are transferred into practice.

Ruhr University Bochum has joined the Cluster for Industrial Biotechnology, CLIB for short. The cluster is a platform for technology transfer and thus start-ups in the field of new materials. These complex system innovations require networks. CLIB offers access to different players in the ecosystem. “Membership in such a broad and strong network fits perfectly into our strategy of networking our transfer and start-up activities even more closely with economic and social players. Our researchers and start-ups benefit equally from this,” says Prof. Dr. Günther Meschke, Vice-Rector for Research Transfer.
