IBISBA Stakeholder Event
IBISBA is a European research infrastructure and community for industrial biotechnology consisting of research institutions from 10 European countries.
Since 2017, we have been pooling European expertise to provide researchers from academia and industry worldwide with integrated services for all phases of bioprocess development projects. Now things are getting more concrete – IBISBA is on its way to becoming a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC). This is a common legal form that facilitates the establishment and operation of research infrastructures of European interest and for which approval must be obtained from the individual member states.
Once established, an ERIC then operates with the individual national nodes. What should such a German node look like, what should it provide and how do we want to connect with the many individual existing activities and networks in the German biotechnology scene?
Let’s discuss together on the 11th of December at Fraunhofer IGB in Stuttgart how we can advance industrial biotechnology in Europe and what role Germany can play in this. An event for everyone who is shaping German industrial biotechnology research!
The event will be held in English.
